LAB Results

Real-world applications, research, and regenerative ecosystem examples emerging from the SPARK community.

Metric Makers

We each run on five energy sources — physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social. Most of us know which one is running low. Few of us do anything about it for more than a week. Metrics Makers is a year-long community practice that changes that. One focus. Real accountability. Measurable results. These are the stories. Inside the DRIVEN Community LAB — where one person, one energy tank, and one year of commitment become a case study in what's possible.

  • Paula Jackler

“I came in thinking this was going to be a productivity hack experiment. This has been a profound mindset transformation.”

  • Shelly Smith

“Life is short. I’ve taken all this time to work hard and earn this money, and now I want to use it for something I enjoy.”

  • Alissa Perrone

“I have tried over and over again to change my lifestyle when it comes to nutrition and activity. And I haven’t succeeded like I have succeeded now. This is me. It’s part of me.”

  • Deborah Goldstein

“I wasn’t having a regulation problem. I was living someone else’s story of who I was.”

  • Phyllis Thorne

“This community provides the space for us carve out time to think about ourselves. That was the beginning.”

  • Week by week, tank by tank, together — not to avoid the hiccups and hurricanes of life - but to meet them differently.

Citizen Science

What happens when a small group of leaders agrees to test whether "regenerative" is more than a word? The ReCap HUDDLE is a six-month citizen science experiment — six practitioners, one question each month, real conversations pressure-tested in real time, including our own Operating Principles. We're not just teaching regenerative capitalism here. We're finding out, in public, whether we can practice it. These dispatches are the field notes

Regenerative Ecosystem

Every experiment in The LAB — from a single meeting to a community resilience partnership — operates as a circulatory system, not a transaction: value flows to the individual (skill, belonging, self-awareness), to the member community (collective wisdom, trust), and to the Institute itself (contribution, capacity). Below, a few case studies show what that circulation looks like in practice.

  • Praise Gavi

Five months ago, we brought on an intern through a warm network introduction - no formal program, no polished playbook, and no certainty about how it would unfold. Five months later, that intern had built two critical pieces of infrastructure (a Skills Wallet app and a communication hub), expanded his professional network across multiple organizations, translated a non-technical vision into working technology, and chose to stay on as a Founding Member of our community.

  • From Blind Spots to Brave Conversations

It began, as the most important things often do, with honesty in a room where trust had already been built. During a 2025 DRIVEN Community LAB (DCL) meeting, members were asked a simple question: what conversations are you struggling to have? The show of hands that followed told the story.
